Brilliant away win - especially with Tomi out. Goodwin back is a huge plus.
Thought Noah did a bloody good job! Not sure what people aren't liking - especially for a player with such limited experience.
Timotheou is the problem. Quite possibly at fault for both goals. He's so slow. Didn't even make an attempt to get near the first goal and was sitting behind and off Duke for the second. And then that mistake that almost gave then the equaliser. People complain about Elsey but I think Timotheou's been at fault for at least a goal a game since he started.
But tonight, who cares? An away win is gold.
Troisi getting just what he deserves.

Great result.
Will welcome Jako back.
Still disappointing not too see Kitto or Marrone in the team, particularly when we need experience, but I'm flogging a dead horse now.
Goody on the score sheet
Not pretty or convincing but good to break the duck away from home.

Great result and well played.
The 3rd goal on the counter is something we need to replicate and can be a real weapon.
I though Timotheau was ok, he's no worse than Jako for mine and hey at some point we could sell him so.....
Piano man slowly getting better but still a way to go, Lopez and Goodwin really add some maturity.
Still lacking a bit in the middle of the park but some nice signs out there tonight. Newcastle, Victory then Newcastle again and who knows.

Yengi was...solid. Did some good stuff. Young striker.
And in breaking news....Foxsports has a report on the Victory/WU game up already but appears to have forgotten that we played. No bias at all. None. diddlysquat.

Equal 4th! Not playing particularly pretty but the learning curve for the kids is steep and the talent is clearly there.
Its just a question of can they click before the season is gone.
With the finishing of Goodwin and both Toure brothers I think we can manage a few smash and grabs to keep us in the hunt mid season, while hoping for a late run as the kids begin to feel they belong in the league

We need to start Niyongabire; he brings other players into the game. I've yet to see the kid play a bad game but he isn't being rewarded.
Dukuly has talent in spades however needs to come on as an impact player and earn the odd the start. At the moment he's being gifted the spot which worries me as there are aspects of his game he needs to work on and being hungry for the starting berth is additional motivation.

Only thing that let him down was his passing I thought, apart from that he did well considering he was isolated against 3 centre backs. Kid needs to slot a goal and he'll get a big confidence boost.Cheers mate.Yengi was...solid. Did some good stuff. Young striker.

Niyongabire's assist for the 3rd goal shows exactly what we we've been missing from the other younger players, perfectly placed pass for the assist, good passing play with the players around him. Better than just running at players and kicking the ball towards goal.
Abatew isn't there for me, cost us the 2nd goal in the build up and doesn't even show glimpses. Timotheou is hot and cold, can do everything else well and then all of a sudden gifts solid chances away, feels like he does it a couple of times a game. Smith is doing alright, I think J. Lopez at LB and Marrone at RB would be the much safer option, at least until Strain is also fit.
Lots of positives from that game, lots to work on still but the more experience we are adding to the team, the better we are looking. I would have much preferred to bring Marrone on for Smith at the end and close out the game stronger though.

Highlights.
James Delianov also did well.

Yeah I thought he was good / serviceable which is a little disappointing.Yengi was...solid. Did some good stuff. Young striker.
After the Roar game at Dolphin stadium, I thought he'd be a ready replacement for Juric. Just lacked a little energy last night but certainly has all the tools to be a real weapon up top.
In fact his defending at corners was a real highlight last night.

Yes, good point. I'd forgotten that. He was preety bloody good when we needed him at the back - and considering the num,ber of corners we gave up and the number of times they got to the ball first, we neded all the help we could get back there. In fact his defending at corners was a real highlight last night.Yengi was...solid. Did some good stuff. Young striker.

Agree with you on Niyongabire and Abetew.
