Kick off tonight with Germany v Scotland.

On the one hand hoping for a Scotland upset but on the other thinking it would be good for the tournament for the host to get off to a good start ...

Southgate has built a team (instead of England just being a bunch of big names thrown together).
Nothing particularly flashy (but a little bit of skill here and there).
Nothing particularly impenetrable in defence (but determined).
A boring 1-0 win when "they should be winning by more against this lot" (but a win with a clean sheet).
I think England might actually do it this time.

Austria win the must win game against Poland 3 goals to 1.
Excellent performance by the Austrian national team!

Huge game against The Netherlands on Tuesday for Austria.
The Netherlands along with France managed to produce the tournaments first goalless draw in tonight's late game.
