Weekend wrap:
Yaya scored in the 17th minute in a 3-1 away win v NK Nafta Lendava (Celje move up to 2nd)
Luka came on at half time in a 1-3 home defeat to St. Louis (San Jose drop to 4th in the Western Conf.)
Archie came on in the 55th minute of a 3-1 home win v Columbus (Charlotte are 5th in the Eastern Conf.)
Sporting have now expressed interest in signing Mo Toure! Wouldn't that be amazing to see them leading the line!
He played 80odd minutes.Whoops, forgot about Mo in my wrap - but he didn't feature in Norwich's opening day defeat at home to West Brom.

Archie came in in the 74th minute of a 3-1 home win v DC United
Luka was an unused sub in 1-5 pasting handed out by Minnesota (yikes!)
Yaya was subbed off in the 79th minute as Celje lost their UCL playoff 2nd leg to Slovan in extra time.
Celje will now play in the Europa League - league phase draw takes place on Friday.
Devastating! I think Europa would be a level that suits Yaya more in terms of the games in theory being a bit more even. So attacking opportunities would be more likely for him compared to all out defence probably being required if they draw Real Madrid or Bayern! But sad for him to miss out of lining up against the world's best.Sorry, bit late this week.

They had a massive chance to win it late into extra time but the Celje striker managed to hoick the ball over the crossbar from about a meter from the goal line.
