Re: A-League 2013-14 match thread
From what I heard (I didn't watch it) it was more to do with how bad Brisbane were and not how good Heart were.

Yeah i didn't see today's game either, but i watched the Heart last week vs Wellington and they were incredible.
Re: A-League 2013-14 match thread
Apart from possession, Heart really did deserve to win by all accounts. Brisbane only managed 1 shot on target all game.
Re: A-League 2013-14 match thread
Heart doing us a favour: 2-0 at HT.
What did everyone make of the red card?

Re: A-League 2013-14 match thread
anywhere else on the pitch it would be yellow but when you have a handful of shirt as last defender on a goal bound forward the ref will give a red, seemed soft but that's exactly why you don't pull a shirt in front of the ref. Muscat can whinge to the media as much as he wants, that red will stand.^ Wrong decision. Yellow card at most.
the missus couldn't understand why I was so happy watching the score updates of that game at dinner on my mobile, love a victory smashing no matter who dishes it out.

Silent protests during the WSW game apparently. Honeymoon period over?
Did anyone catch the game?

What are they protesting exactly? They broke the rules their club is getting fined, I don't understand how you can get upset with being cracked down on when you have done something that is against the rules. I feel they haven't got a leg to stand on here.Silent protests during the WSW game apparently. Honeymoon period over?

Well, they don't have a leg to stand on - but I think they think they're more influential than they really are...
Guessing its them trying to 'show' the club how much better it is when they're active, so let us do what we want.
Given that WSW is owned by the FFA though, wtf do they think the outcome is going to be?!

The honeymoon can only last for so long, aaron mooy , shinji ono and probably hersi are leaving. Once they lose a few games and popa moves on how many of them will still "sing for wanderers" when times get tough .Well, they don't have a leg to stand on - but I think they think they're more influential than they really are...

Every other club has been through good and bad , fans have been rusted on . Wsw haves ome way to go yet

Re: A-League 2013-14 match thread
I was keeping my eye on the scores when at work.. Jeggo's first touch and finish were pretty nice, although it could of been defensively handled better.
shattered it wasn't a draw, and moreso, if someone had to win I would have rathered it be Mariners.. Victory have historically fucked with us on the ladder way too much.. I'm having flash backs to missing out on the Premiership by goal difference in 08/09... I want them as far away from us on the ladder as possible!
