Personally I find that a bit hard to believe.
Bayern are a global brand but I feel you ask people who aren't huge football fans IMO far more would have heard of Man Utd, Chelsea or Barca over Bayern.
Still I am so happy to see German football blossoming, although I'm getting sick to death of hearing English media harp on about the differences between English clubs and German clubs.
