so what happens to these player that have signed up now? is it a 2 year ban?FIFA orders normalization committee to fix PSSI
The Jakarta Post, Jakarta | Tue, 04/05/2011
World soccer body FIFA has decided that a normalization committee should take over the current executive committee of the Indonesian Soccer Association (PSSI), following recent problems in its management.
"Following the latest events linked to the Soccer Association of Indonesia (PSSI), the FIFA Emergency Committee decided on April 1, 2011 that, in accordance with article 7 paragraph 2 of the FIFA Statutes, a normalization committee will take over from the current PSSI executive committee," FIFA said on its website on Monday.
The FIFA Emergency Committee said the current PSSI leadership was not in control of soccer in Indonesia as seen by its failure to take control of the run-away league (Liga Premiere Indonesia), set up without the involvement of PSSI. It also cited the fact that the PSSI had failed to organize a congress whose sole goals were to adopt an electoral code and elect an electoral commission to manage the election of a new leadership.
The FIFA Emergency Committee concluded that the PSSI leadership had lost all credibility within Indonesia and was not in a position to resolve the current problems in the association.
FIFA said the normalization committee would organize elections based on the FIFA electoral code and PSSI statutes, before May 21 2011; bring the runaway league under PSSI control or have it stopped as soon as possible; and run the day-to-day activities of the PSSI in a spirit of reconciliation for the good of Indonesian football.
The normalization committee is composed of personalities from Indonesian football who will not be able to run for any PSSI positions and would act as an electoral commission, FIFA added.
It also confirmed the non-eligibility for the PSSI presidency of four candidates who were previously rejected by the PSSI appeal committee on Feb. 28

Re: A league transfer rumours, NON AU
FIFA are attacking and reforming the PSSI, not the LPI. So far, FIFA haven't actually turned against the LPI. In fact, it seems like the LPI will go gangbusters with the help from FIFA.
Looks like that league will be staying, as will its players.
(PS: There's a thread for this in the Football Asia board. Might be an idea to move it there.)

Beauchamp to Sydney. Pitty as I wouldn't have minded him signing for us tbh.

I don't think it'd happen, I feel like he'd be wanting to continue 'playing at the highest-possible level' for at least another season. It's not like it's been a bad one for him. (And it's not like Vite would play him appropriately.)

Dave Williams to Heart
Hopefully this rumour doesn't turn out true!
He turns 24 next February. Do you have to be 23 or under 23 to qualify for the youth marquee?
