Hope the mods are more involved in this forum … I kid, I kid … ;)

nice work guys :)
tbh i found the mods on adelaidereds to be quite an intelligent, good looking well dressed bunch of fellows.
It was the admin that was the problem, to busy drinking wine with the qwoff boys to worry bout the forum if the gossip is to be believed. :P

Congrats on getting the new forum up and running.

A suggestion if I may; I think there are too many different sub-forums. For example theres no real reason to seperate Adelaide United and A-League and Socceroos into seperate forums. I think all you need is Australian Football, World Football and maybe an off topic forum which could include other sports/tv/general life.

I have found that in the early days of a forum too many subforums can kill it because theres no concentration of posts and similar topics can be lost among the different forums for no real reason.

Less forums, more discussion.

The reason the forums are separated as such is to make it easier to find discussions based on either the club, the league or football in general.

If you look at many other forums, they have much more sub-forums than WATR.

I see where you're coming from, but I personally do not think there are that many. The moderators exist to ensure that duplicate topics are merged.

If down the track we feel a change is necessary, we'll discuss it and make the change.

Thanks for the feedback though!

Cheers,

I believe the sub forums are necessary. While it may seem to be unneeded as of now, all it will take is for some more active members to sign up and start posting and I know I'll be grateful of being able to differentiate the content without having to scroll a page of threads.

I personally think its nice knowing that if I click on the Adelaide United section, people are going to be discussing the club.
