Pride game and the chance to see Cum Dog as well!!
First game I'm attending in 3 years so could not have picked a better game outside of Victory I don't reckon.
CCM played midweek and we rested half our squad so we should overrun these guys.
COYR!

Good to be back home with a full strength side available. I think we should revert back to last season’s system with just one 6 especially as we currently have both Mauk and Clough. Maybe we could put Juande forward when Mauk eventually departs?
Gauci
Lopez Barr Jakobsen Kitto
Isaias
Mauk Clough
Brook Ibusuki Goodwin
Hall, Tratt, Cavallo, Juande, Irankunda, Bernardo, Toure

Mariners have been playing better football than their results suggest.

Seriously ? Well as long as you don't mean that one 6 is D'Arrigo, who I notice isn't even on your bench. So I guess not.
I think Saturday night proved that having Mauk and Clough starting together is a luxury we can't afford.

Send the league a message - integrity of the game is the most important thing. Right now we have:
- VAR involvement when the majority of supporters detest it
- Drinks breaks for the benefit of TV ads
- Expansion teams with no community support shoehorned into 'expanding markets' based on promises that will never eventuate, for .. reasons
- Refereeing spectacles so dreadful that it is easier to imagine corruption than incompetence
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.
Re: Prideview: Adelaide United - CCMariners 26.02.22
Thankfully OldGregg they've announced this am that drinks breaks will no longer be used for commercials, unless extreme heat policy mandated them (which is back to what we've always had). So they are listening.
Danny Townsend (APL head) is also gathering info on the farcical decisions last night so hopefully something comes of that too.
Side note but a bit shit the APL CEO is also the Sydney FC CEO. Makes our league look a bit more Mickey Mouse doesn't it.

The real question is, if Shaun Evans is the ref on Saturday, how does he decide which team to screw over?

Is there a petition going or something? I feel like the usual moanings on social media gets no attention. Does it take a club walking off after a disastrous decision to initiate change? Even better, the crowd leaving mid-game out of protest.Send the league a message - integrity of the game is the most important thing. Right now we have:Pride round is very important and I hope we get a good crowd, but I'd also like to see the Red Army express their solidarity with Mariners supporters after getting diddled by that refereeing farce last night. Need to start actually making some demands on the governing body.

Would like to see some promotion of the actual football game sometime this week and then as pointed out above, more focus on the issues like var, refereeing which are what most fans give a toss about.
The pride game aspect has been flogged to death and it’s only Thursday ffs. I don’t have an issue with JC or anyone’s sexual orientation, I just like to enjoy sport for what it is.

This mirrors my thoughts on the upcoming game but replace crocodiles with 3 points and CCM or something like that.
In all seriousness, I like that the club is promoting inclusiveness but I feel like they are flogging it a bit. JC is a young lad, recently out and it's a lot to put on him. Hopefully he is a willing participant and not feeling pressured by the club to be constantly is the spotlight as an ambassador for gay footballers in order for the club to milk as much positive PR from being woke AF.
Mariners will be fired up for this one, going to be a tough game.

Aww man they've ruined at least two weekends I've been at Hindmarsh when they were holding up the ladder.Mariners have been playing better football than their results suggest.
We have a good run in terms of home games for the rest of the season. Draws will no longer suffice!
