Re: Who's signed for next season
Verbeek sees Musa Toure, who only just turned 14 as someone who could make their debut next season.

Also really not sure what Nick Meredith is trying to insinuate here.

His tweet has a gloves emoji so you'd assume it's a goal keeper.Val reporting that CCM are about to unveil a former youth team player of ours.

Yes, I just had a look at that tweet.
Strange.

Luca Meggetto will join CCM while Cameron Cook will go to Perth.
Cool to Perth is a weird one considering they have Margus and I thought their youth keeper was highly rated as well.

Re: Who's signed for next season
16 year old keeper Ethan Cox has signed a 3 year scholarship deal.
“After showing potential during training and games, he has since been rewarded and will train with the Hyundai A-League squad on a daily basis, working alongside Goalkeeping Coach, Eugene Galekovic, and fellow goalkeepers, Paul Izzo, Isaac Richards, and Dakota Ochsenham.”
Does this mean Ochsenham is contracted as well?

Re: Who's signed for next season
Halloran is definitely a key signing for us so great news.
There's a lot of things to like about the squad but we're lacking in areas. Better foreign players would be a good start.
I miss Stuckey's convenient list to see when all the players are coming off contract.

Expiring 2020
4. Ryan STRAIN
11. Kristian OPSETH
14. George BLACKWOOD
22. Michael JAKOBSEN
24. Pacifique NIYONGABIRE
28. Yongbin CHEN
31. Mirko BOLAND
Expiring 2021
2. Michael MARRONE
5. Michael MARIA
10. James TROISI
16. Nathan KONSTANDOPOULOS
17. Nikola MILEUSNIC
18. Lachlan BROOK
23. Jordan ELSEY
30. Isaac RICHARDS
Expiring 2022
6. Stefan MAUK
7. Ryan KITTO
8. Riley MCGREE
20. Paul IZZO
26. Ben HALLORAN
Expiring 2023
27. Louis D'ARRIGO
35. Al Hassan TOURE
49. Mohamed TOURE
No information about Kusini Yengi's contract length online but I think it would be 2021 or 2022. I reckon Strain and Konstandopoulos will get new deals. Think Blackwood is playing for a contract at the minute. Opseth, Chen and Boland will certainly be let go. Personally I would get rid of Jakobsen but he could stay and that leaves Niyongabire who it is a toss up for really.

Re: Who's signed for next season
It will be interesting next season where our visa players are positioned on the pitch.
Al hassan Toure is proven at this level now with Yengi still finding his feet, I would probably be happy to let Toure develop and not sign a visa striker, but then the same goes for our wingers. In the midfield you could get a quality DM but again investing in D'arrigo will pay dividends
Its a really interesting situation because our key positions are filled by aussies and there is youth who deserve those spots. Perhaps our visa players will be versatile squaddies who can play multiple position to cover injuries.
