2019/20 kit
A-league and FFA cup away kit has been released today.
Think white tee with a red collar. Super boring and super plain. As bad as Perth Glory's kit IMO.
I think you can get away with a fairly plain red kit but a white kit needs something otherwise it looks super basic. Oh well, 1 more year of macron and then we can change.
That's only my opinion though, I'm sure there are plenty that like it as is.

Not horrible but not fanstastic. The epaulets are a nice touch.

White away kits should be fired into the sun
I’m not sure why we don’t make use of yellow/blue in our away kits

I'm not a fan either. Very boring in my eyes, but hopefully the primary strip will be better. Fingers crossed.

... you can already almost tell what our home kit will look like just judging on how boring every other teams has been.
I wouldn't mind seeing a stripe kit for an ffa cup or acl.

Re: 2019/20 kit
I have always advocated that we actually utilise the club's three colours (Red, Blue and Yellow). Our all red strip should have subtle blue and yellow trimming) and definitely yellow numbers like we had in our original strip. For the away strip, you do not need to look any further than Barcelona's new away strip. All white can look classy, but we have had that in the past and is a bit common. We should go for a bolder and more distinctive design like Barca's new away strip. In the past, I have written to the club about the use of our State's colours and bolder away strip without a reply. I hope the new ownership can respond positively in the future.

I completely agree, Yellow would be the best dominant colour as we could wear the red strip v Mariners & Welly.I have always advocated that we actually utilise the club's three colours (Red, Blue and Yellow). classy

Re: 2019/20 kit
Personally i i dont really care about the strips a whole lot just keep it neat and simple.
However i do want to see some crazy clash strips that are so terrible that they actually work. An aufc version of the 92 socceroos kit for example

Re: 2019/20 kit
Further to the comments that I made about the Adelaide United away strip, I just spotted two photos side by side on the Adelaide Now website. On the left is Jacobsen modelling the new white strip and right next to it on the right is a picture of a Barcelona player playing a friendly against Iniesta's Vissel Kobe in Japan. Even though you only see the shirts and not the complete package (Shorts and socks), We are the Reds contributors can make up their own mind. What do you think guys?

I like it, it's a good example of plain still being exciting.
Maybe if we get Adidas or Nike next season we might see some more exciting kits.

Re: 2019/20 kit
That Barca one is nice.
Seeing as though A-League clubs usually just get hand me down cookie cutter templates from these companies, we should really just sign with Adidas and get the Spanish National team look. I would cop something like this in an instant:

Re: 2019/20 kit
An uninspiring design for the away kit. Hoping the best is being saved for last with our home kit.
I think our best home designs remain Reebok in 2010-11 (Coopers on the front made it look sexy) and Errea the year after, in 2011-12. The 3D logos were a really nice touch.
Unrelated to kits for the most part, but I do look forward to a reimagined club logo that emphasises the colour red, rather than the mostly white one we have now (which I do love). It would be interesting to see how future kits would work with a 'more red' logo.

Any chance the club will reveal the strip soon?
