Had to watch on delay and pleased I stuck around.
Great result but really very little between the sides, we took our chances (for once).
Take our chances next weel against City and who knows?

We hadn't played this well since Victory. Hopefully this is the start of a late season burst that sees us able to surprise a few sides in the run towards the title. Imagine.

Still don't think we've got what it takes to win the thing but if we play, and defend like that for the rest of the year we can do some damage.

Stama has copped two week suspension for that tackle. No striker for Mvfc game either.

2 weeks is harsh. Didn't Berisha get 2 weeks for pushing an official?
Stama's tackle had no malice or intention to harm. It was just an overly eager mistimed challenge by a kid on a 2 goal adrenaline rush. 1 week would have been sufficient.

With a home final on the line I think the club need to challenge that suspension. No way did it need an extra week chucked on.2 weeks is harsh. Didn't Berisha get 2 weeks for pushing an official?

Stama definite red, but I'm surprised by the extra week.
The two Nix tackles were both yellows.
You see Goodwin talking to the ref about the red at half time, the ref says he gave a yellow first because he thought Stama's tackle was on the foot, but replay showed it was halfway up his shin, which made it red.
IMO the Nix tackles were both much lower, on the boot or just on the ankle. So on that basis, yellow is fair enough.

After the match is before the match.
