I think the lads will be up for this one. New coach next year so all the heads are on the chopping block. Not to mention we need to win to make sure we play finals.

But 7goals, imagine the satisfaction of seeing AU developing the next generation of Chinese Messi’s. surely that is the key kpi all AU supporters aspire too!! 🤪
Claw, can I have a few years to think about it?

I suspect some will have lost interest. The coach for example. And any players moving on next year. And players safely contracted for next year. And some supporters.I think the lads will be up for this one. New coach next year so all the heads are on the chopping block. Not to mention we need to win to make sure we play finals.
Still, they may feel liberated and run amok again.

They are professional players who are fighting for a playoff spot, if they've lost interest they can **** off.I suspect some will have lost interest. The coach for example. There’s an outside chance that Baba could play. Apparently he’s back and looking extremely fresh and could play in the next few weeks.

I'd be slightly surprised given the club have already told him he's no longer required. There’s an outside chance that Baba could play. Apparently he’s back and looking extremely fresh and could play in the next few weeks.

In saying that, if they're paying him (must be if Jordy isnt an injury replacement), then may as well play him. He'd be wanting to prove something and get himself in the shop window. We would want to be doing the best we can with the squad we have, even if it does feel like we're in limbo at the moment.I'd be slightly surprised given the club have already told him he's no longer required. There’s an outside chance that Baba could play. Just don't try and lift my hopes - only to have them dashed when he's off injured after 84 seconds.Don’t want Baba back or worried I’ll jinx him aha?Oh 007, just don't!

All very good points, and it's also good to have Halloran back.In saying that, if they're paying him (must be if Jordy isnt an injury replacement), then may as well play him. Re: Preview: Central Coast Mariners v Adelaide United 31.03.19
This one has 'banana skin' written all over it. I can see us losing every match for the rest of this season and ceding our finals spot to the Jest.
I still can't believe that the team's owners have asked Marco to move on. It just proves that there really is no loyalty left in professional football. Marco was a godsend for us and he clearly loved living and working here. My spy network tells me that he is off to the Meow next season - which means that they will go back to being one of the strong teams, instead of one of the easybeats.
For the first time in all the time that I have followed the AUFC - and I was present at the very first match, when Gordon Pickard owned it - this is the first time that I am struggling to get motivated to go to the games. All we can do is hope that the owners know what they are doing - but I'm not confident about that either.

"Hang on, lads; I've got a great idea".

Are you asleep for the last minute ...
Press conference for the CCM and there was a photographer there as well.
I am still disappointed that the club did not renew his contact.
The guy is quality.
