On what basis?
The red card vs victory?
He worked hard last night but has no speed / mobility which baba does and that is much needed as Blackwood is also slow.

It's all about opinions - for me Cavusevic is easily better then Baba simply because he's actually available to play. Plus he's still getting used to the Aussie way of playing, getting used to his team mates, and getting more game time to improve his touch on the ball in match situations.

If Kurz is going to SFC it means he will be released from his contract and I can't understand why we do that.

I cant see kurz leaving. If Kurz is going to SFC it means he will be released from his contract and I can't understand why we do that.
He has done the ground work here and is very likely to have more money next season with out new owners.
Sydney will be in a transition period next year
Rudan or corica will surely get the job

He's out of touch as far as match conditioning, but this year Baba hasn't fired a shot in the slightest. And I don't know what you're watching? Baba has no speed. On what basis?

I'm not writing Dezengis off, Baba has been a waste of space this season due to injury. Just reckon it's way to early to write him off based on Dzengis playing around 15 minutes as a sub once or twice, the victory game & his first game as a starter where his lack of match fitness became evident by around 60 mins.
Anyway sounds like we might have 3 strikers to choose from pretty soon and hopefully that competition results in goals for the team.
Onwards and upwards from here.. Hopefully on and off the field.

I remember when people wrote off isaias after a few games.

To be honest with the service provided by our midfield the vast majority of the time you could stick Pele up there and we'd still be pretty impotent...

I must admit I hated the way he played. Too flashy and he fell over too easily. He changed pretty quick although there's still some unnecessary fancy rubbish, but he saves us far more often.I remember when people wrote off isaias after a few games.

This! Last night was a case in point. Whatever our structure is, the midfield doesn't appear to play a part in it.To be honest with the service provided by our midfield the vast majority of the time you could stick Pele up there and we'd still be pretty impotent...

Our attacking midfielder is a young local junior still learning his trade (Konsta or O'D). We don't have a Carrusca or Flores at the moment. Maybe with our new owners we might fix that deficiency.

Interesting article in The Guardian today about how we lead the league on shots but are 8th in goals scored. The quality of chances created are low.
Basically agrees with what the erudite here are saying: our football has become naiive. My personal opinion is that we’ve undone all the good work of the Spanish era, and we’re almost unwatchable.

Hits the nail on the head for mine. The most A-League team in the A-League is a good, if not slightly depressing description of usInteresting article in The Guardian today about how we lead the league on shots but are 8th in goals scored. The quality of chances created are low.

I think it comes down to lacking a quality 10.Interesting article in The Guardian today about how we lead the league on shots but are 8th in goals scored. The quality of chances created are low.

Odoherty is good, but you dont see defenders focussing on him to prevent a killer ball to the front third.
I guess our front third plays a part also, look at absalonsens goal, 9/10 times an aufc player just cant pull the trigger.
I honestly feel we would be top 3 with a real 10 and competing for trophies if we had a true threat in the front third
