THE sale of Adelaide United to Chinese investors is tipped to take a major step closer to being finalised this week.
They want our cheap steel thanks to mr trump lol.I wonder if they came back to us after expansion fell over elsewhere.
I can certainly see why our club would appeal to the Chinese. There's a big influence here in business and education already, and we as a club have plenty of growth opportunities. Selling a club who wears Red to the Chinese is also easier.
Hopefully they can help redevelop Hindmarsh as well as the on field side of the club.
I think the LEDMan guy has been good for Newcastle Jets. Has been positive without spending ridiculous sums of money. I'd be happy enough with that model.As long as they are
1) passionate football supporters
2) provide adequate funding
3) can afford some good players and even some marquee's

Sorry to edit the post, given its behind a paywall we really shouldnt copy paste the entire article.
Its a worry when our ports are used as security for loans.I believe the group is Landbridge, who own the Port of Darwin among other assets.
