Breathe down their necks. Forget about the quality of the pitch. Get out to Coopers and set the TV to record and watch it again later. A win win win situation.

It's time for Lord Nelson's tactics, which were as simple and as clear as possible when facing the French - hit first, hit hard and keep hitting. It worked for Nelson and the Royal Navy and it will work for us. Don't sod about with back passing and side passing - get it forward, stream forward in numbers and pile on relentless pressure. The goals will follow the pressure.

Nelson still got by with one arm which is more than we can say for some of our missing players this season

Lovely being in Adelaide.
Pity the malakes have ruined Hindmarsh. The entertainment centre wish to stage it there again... There goes the neighbourhood.

I think the rubbish pitch will hurt CCM's game more than ours. Although keeping switched on at the back will be as crucial as ever.

At times like these, I like to remind myself that we have a habit of playing other teams back into form...
I think we should be okay though. Here's hoping!

Unchanged XI. Marrone, Regan, Nathan K and Dzengis on the bench.

Will be interested to see how Melling goes as he's always on my AU watch list.
Has had a pretty good start at CCM from what i have seen.
The natural DM replacement for Adlung or Isiais some day?

When I think of Melling, I think of that 2 studs up both feet off the ground lunge straight into Elsey's thigh at the start of this season that went unpunished. If he can cut that shit out of his game (he'll have to playing outside of Sydney/Melb) I might think more of him. Will be interested to see how Melling goes as he's always on my AU watch list.

When I think of Melling, I think of a poor man’s Fabian Barbiero. A lot of running, but nothing much else.
