Or he is a centre half in disguise...

Bozanic's father is South Australia, he would have qualified under the "bilbao rules". Shame we didn't snap him up.

Re: Who's signed for next season
IMO Bozanic could have been a perfect player for AU. But I would have been shocked to see AU pull off signing a player like him. He seems to be another player happy to play the merry-go-round game. I'm not knocking players willing to do that. But it would be so wonderful to see one of them settle down with AU and give them 3 seasons of outstanding football.
Time to Djbate!

Re: Who's signed for next season
I wonder if these sorts of players (like the Troisis and Bozanics of Australian football) all have the same player agent managing them…

It's no surprise that returning Aussies would want to play at one of the Sydney or Melbourne clubs.

Im sure kamau is loving his move to city. All those off the bench appearances compared to no doubt being a starting 11 here will surely pay off for him......its melbourne......always better to sign with them.

I dont understand these dogmatic assumptions by fans that players play for a capital sydney or melbourne team because its good for their careers.
Surely in a salary capped league with limited games the best option is to play for a club who will offer you the most game time and playing style best compliments your own.
The only club who potentially has more to offer a players career is city given their vast footprint all over the world.
The only reason career minded players may lean towards these clubs is money and also a more proactive approach to signing talent.
Even wellington signs aspiring socceroos so this totally debunks the “ no one want to come here” excuse.

Apart from Aaron Mooy, has any MCY player made a big transfer move away from the club?Yeah i agree.Im sure kamau is loving his move to city. Re: Who's signed for next season
Of course a career minded player would choose Sydney FC over Adelaide - there's the opportunity to win something! The same could be said of MV (although they're having a shocking season they have deep pockets to draw good marquees so are more likely to be competing for trophies) and Melb City (world wide connections, deep pockets, good marquees) and WSW (deep pockets if they can get their crowds back up, good play if they stick with Gumby).
Also, when Kamau went to City he was backing himself to be good enough to nail down a starting spot. He hasn't managed it, but to say he shouldn't have gone seems to suggest he shouldn't have had so much belief in himself. Hindsight is 20/20 vision.
