Well in the long term at least.Popovic quits and takes Turkish super league coaching job 7 days before the start of the season.
I think this will be good for the Wanderers.

Yeh that's what I mean. Not good for the start of this season.Well in the long term at least.Popovic quits and takes Turkish super league coaching job 7 days before the start of the season.

Apparently Josep Gombau is the front runner if you can believe that. Not a great fit IMO. JG needs time to implement his style, WSW want instant results every season and thats why their big $ player turnover is so high.
Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
Popovic is a pretty average coach. Will be back here in 6-12 months I reckon.

Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
His new team, Kardemir Karabuk, is in the relegation zone with 5 points from 7 games.
Jumping in at the deep end...
He will have a very interesting time there no doubt.

Great to see Gomby back in the HAL. He will do well with the resources WSW have.

Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
WSW fans calling for Gumby to resign after being destroyed by Sydney 0-5.
I don't think he is a good fit there, he is short term pain for long term gain. They want instant results and don't care about next season until next season.
Who will go first, Gombau or Muscat?

Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
Looks like gombau is on his way out according to reports has lost the players.
Gombau received a sinking ship, clearly he was hired to change the way they play and not for instant impact. Why are people not adking questions of Popavic? This is his team and wsw havnt really performed for quite some time even under him.
Gombau for socceroos !

Re: RE: Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
Would love for WSW to sack him. Would be an absolute laugh. I think most Adelaide fans know it will take him several months to bed down his style of play.Looks like gombau is on his way out according to reports has lost the players.

Would love him to coach the Socceroos but I doubt he will.

Kardemir Karabükspor are still bottom having garnered just 3 points since Popovic took over...Popovic is a pretty average coach. Will be back here in 6-12 months I reckon.
