2 away games in a row now. Be nice to pick up some points.
I believe we should beat Victory on current form, although the ladder suggest this is a mid table battle.
What is the latest on Absalonsen?

I'm not feeling positive about this game. I think Melbourne will have some newfound belief after their comeback win last round.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

This match comes five years and a day after we beat them 4-2 in an unforgettable epic at Hindmarsh (Kostopoulos double, Ferreira lightning bolt and Carrusca's curved peach).
Absalonsen's injury time is a joke. I'm over it. Starting to seem a little suss.
We've taken a grand total of five points at Etihad: a 1-0 win in our first visit there (the Kosmina/Muscat incident), a 2-2 draw not long after, which preceded the rigged ten-game losing streak against them and a 1-1 draw in December 2011, when they were as hopeless as we were.
Of course, they have to win the week before they play us.
I'm going with a 2-1 loss, with our goal coming on the counter, but we'll gift them two cheap finishes with scrappy turnovers deep in our half.

Didn't someone say on here Absalonsen redid the injury at training or something like that which has extended the time out? Or am I imagining it?

Probably me, but that was weeks ago. He's been 'two weeks' for over a month now.Didn't someone say on here Absalonsen redid the injury at training or something like that which has extended the time out? Or am I imagining it?

I have a theory on Johan. Very few Northern European guys have come down here and the ones that have, have had significant injury issues.

Okay, it is getting strange. Maybe the harder surface is doing him in which would be a big concern as it might mean we don't get to see him play much more.Probably me, but that was weeks ago. It's star wars round. Just when you thought your National league couldn't be more embarassing and shameless, we now have a star wars cross promotion."Meanwhile, Boba Fett has gone missing after falling into the Great Pit of Carkoon and will likely be out until the end of time."
