Good Win, Mediocre Game. Capped off by foxtel signal dying as a gigantic storm rolled in ~3 minutes from full time.

I watched without sound, was an improvement.
Saying that, why was Strain taken off? Thought he was very good.
Elsey solid again, can see him in Korea in a year or two.
Who comes in for Garuccio? Ochieng?
Opposition were poor, var helped but thats another 3 points....

Strain was on the ground shortly before he went off, might have been cramp, might be a muscle injury.I watched without sound, was an improvement.

Top 4 and cup finalists all while having most key players injured and highly questionable decisions affecting some earlier rounds results.
Well done Kurz!
I still think we can win trophies this year but losing to sydney will be a massive 6 pointer in the red.

Particularly with the player turnover we had in the offseason.
Need to get at least a draw next week. Going to be tough without Garuccio and possibly Marrone, however Johan should be back so perhaps Kitto at LB?

WSW would be right to feel very dirty about how that game panned out. VAR can fuck right off - it's absolutely killing my enjoyment of the game at the moment.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Why is that? If he handled the ball in the penalty area, I can't see anything wrong with the VAR decision. Sure it did take some time, but the correct call was made.WSW would be right to feel very dirty about how that game panned out. I thought we played quite well. Really only under the pump when we went down to 10 men.
Kitto has taken a step up this year, really threatening going forward and taking his chances. Also Strain had a great game considering it was his first A-League match.
We are UNITED, after all....

I’m reading now what VAR can adjudicate on and I’m at a loss as to how Garuccio was sent off.
Sure it could easily have been a red but the referee has given a yellow for it.
None of these scenarios apply IMO.
Edit: must be option 3 - the ref has deemed that “not sending off” Garuccio was “clearly wrong”.
In any case, very subjective.
