Isaias standout yet again.
Unsurprisingly.
Well done Isa. Looking forward to 3 more years of the same!

Isaias!
Club Champion.
Congratulations once again!
I hope Isaias is doing the coaching courses because he is one player that needs to stay at the club for a long, long time.

Isaias did it by the length of straight effectively and is a hugely deserved champion. He is the heart and soul of the club and surely will be the next captain unless Galekovic retains it next year.
McGree really did well to get to second.

These votes really do tell a story. Certainly at the beginning Guardiola looked the goods however he never seemed to find his mojo and hence his confidence waned. That was wishful thinking...Well done Isa! Champion in every sense of the word!

Re: WATRs Player of 2016/17 Season
Yeah his touches were good, for the first few games I thought the issue was that he just didn't have the connection with his teammates - coming from a higher league, expecting particular types of passes, etc. Normally things improve in this respect as players learn each others' games and start to link up better - in this case it didn't get better and Guardiola started dropping his head and dragging his feet. Big echoes of Slory & Palanca.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Meh, he was a dud.
Baba Diawara on the other hand could win this trophy next season...

Preseason technically begins today, so we should be able to find a time to deliver it in coming weeks.

Someone mentioned chelo has come back to Australia. I wonder if he'll be training with the AU squad?

Re: WATRs Player of 2016/17 Season
I'm very busy at the moment so I don't think I'll have time to hand it over this year.Preseason technically begins today, so we should be able to find a time to deliver it in coming weeks.
I'm happy to see someone else hand it over this season. Isaias is a wonderful person and would be very welcoming to anyone handing it over.
My vote is McJules to hand it over as he has done so much wonderful work for this forum. But if he is unable or someone else is more willing I'm happy to have nominations.
Time to Djbate!
