Didn't call the other one but couldn't wait to blow for Victory. He is an FFA employee and is just maximising profits for his organisation

Re: 2015 FFA Cup
I think MV and the FFA have something to answer for to be honest. 26,000 members and they got one of their lowest crowds in years.
Im sure Perth would have had a similar if not larger crowd.
Good news is Adelaide united still hold the attendance record!

According to wiki they only got 4.5k more fans through the gates then we did for our quarter final against them.I think MV and the FFA have something to answer for to be honest. 26,000 members and they got one of their lowest crowds in years.

Terrible numbers! And crazy that we had more fans to the final last season!
As a matter of fact we drew more fans to adelaide oval!

Re: 2015 FFA Cup
Much has been made about the prices but they would have gotten more people in Perth. Time to end the FF East Coast and actually make decisions in the interest of the whole country.

Re: 2015 FFA Cup
Seems like the FFA think their cup is better than anyone else does.Category A was $80
Cheapest category (which didn't seem full) was $40
Like the fact they had to give a heap of tickets away to get a decent crowd for AU's elimination final at AO last season. Hopefully they wake up to this balls ups and actually find out what people want first.
Just a thought considering they're supposed to be providing a "service" to people.
You don't see pubs charging $20 for a pint and say "take it or leave it." The market is speaking to you!

Obviously much more expensive. Of course the FFA should be under scrutiny for their pricing. Having the game in Melbourne was obviously a mistake too. The final in Perth where they have been starved of these sorts of marquee fixtures would have done much better even with the elevated prices.* Category A (Reserved Seating in the Western Grandstand) - $40 Adult, $35 Concession, $21 Child, $101 Family
* Category B (General Admission) - $30 Adult, $25 Concession, $11 Child, $71 Family
* Active Supporter Areas (North End) - $30 Adult, $25 Concession, $11 Child, $71 Family

Re: 2015 FFA Cup
The fact the FFA think they can pick and chose where these games are held and this whole shielding of NPL clubs to the semi just makes the thing look mickey mouse.
Is it really that much of a risk to just draw it all at random?

I think the median ticket price is only slightly higher. But still those ticket prices are rediculous. How does that compare with coopers for last years ffa cup final?Category A was $80

The cup is supposed to bring back the grass roots. At those prices they are elimating the average family from attending.
Its funny how they can argue adelaide oval is a great venue as well t allows for fans to view the game who could not otherwise attend and set marquee games like this at such rediculous prices.

Re: 2015 FFA Cup
I dont buy the whole tickets were too expensive crap.
if it was the case they would have been full behind the goals where the cheaper tickets were.
Melbourne... sporting capital of the world... cant sell out a cup final.
IMO - they should double the entrants and scrap the shielding of the NPL clubs.

Re: 2015 FFA Cup
Good point the tickets were most likely cheaper for members anyway. Bit strange that at least 10k paying members couldn't be bothered see their club win a trophy.I dont buy the whole tickets were too expensive crap.

I agree with more entrants. I'd like to see a round of 64 and keep it to local sides, no interstate travel.
