I don't attend any w-league or NYL games but i would definitely make the effort to go early to watch them if they were played before HAL games.

I thoroughly enjoyed the curtain raisers. I'll be very happy if this comes back.

Great idea!

Great idea? It's a disgrace that it's not happening. More to the point, I can't understand WHY it's not happening.

I'm pretty sure it was because they wanted to keep the pitch in the best condition before the a-league game, that lets be frank, almost everyone is coming to see. Either that or the extra costs in opening the gates early.Great idea? It's a disgrace that it's not happening. More to the point, I can't understand WHY it's not happening.

Hopefully openning the gates early can reduce crowd congestion just before the HAL game.I'm pretty sure it was because they wanted to keep the pitch in the best condition before the a-league game, that lets be frank, almost everyone is coming to see. I find the people who work at the gate have one level of speed so spreading out the time that people can buy tickets should help.
I just hope its well advertised so people know.
