Intense.
Troisi with the winner after some interesting work by Juric on the touchline.
2-1 Australia and we are Champions of Asia!!!!

Fantastic result, did it the hard way in true aussie fashion. Ange throwing his arms around revving up the crowd at 89mins pretty much guaranteed the late equalizer. Luongo has been amazing for us.

Amazing stuff.
That would have woken "Sports" Australia up a bit.

Ecstatic! Great final - we didn't win it the easy way.
Also worth pointing out that while Adelaide didn't get any games, an SA boy blasted home the winner!

Re: 2015 Asian Cup
All of a sudden big clubs are after luongo, even a la liga club.
Leckie will be in Bundesliga next year
Some massive clubs are tracking ryan
Sainsbury is tipped to move to a big league
Then you got players like da silva and ikonomidis who are in that next generation and already signed to senior contracts in serie a.
The future looks bright.
A year or 2 ago people claimed we have no talent. Now those same talentless players are moving to big time leagues in europe.
We need to stop assuming players abilities based on the league they play in or worse assume that anyone playing in aus are sub par.

Great effort to come back after conceding just before the final whistle to send it to extra time.
Would have been easy for heads to drop but what a fantastic response.
