I just saw the tackle on Hrustic.
Straight Red farken!
Hrustic caught twice in this match in bad tackles. That one was a clear red card. I won’t be surprised if that puts him out for weeks.
We've lost three players to bad tackles these last two games

Good to see Yazbek and Iredale getting minutes and looking ok. Nisbett gets a run - not looking his usual self yet.

Goodness. Iredale with an assist to Goodwin who has 2 and 2 assists.

80 mins Cross from Iredale touched on by a defender puts it on a platter for Goodwin to score his second.
0-5 (I keep forgetting we’re the away team.)

Duke comes off for Silveri. I had forgot he was still on.

Lebanon keeper under pressure puts it out for a throw. His defence is upfield and Australia have players forward, so the keeper falls to the ground for no reason, in order to stop play. 🤷‍♂️

Final two games in Stage 2 are:

6 June Bangladesh (A)
11 June Palestine (H)

Today’s win guarantees us 1st or 2nd in our group, so we’ve qualified for Stage 3 already.
Top two teams of the 9 groups go into 3 x 6 team groups for Stage 3.

Top 2 of each of those Stage 3 groups go to the World Cup.
(Other second chance pathways for 3rd & 4th in those groups.)

I'd love to see more fringe Socceroos and debutants in the next two games.

Bovalina. The welsh bloke holding down RB hasn’t looked convincing

Some solid time on the park for Alexander Robertson, Patrick Yazbek and Jacob Italiano given a debut at right back. Mo back into the squad would be good to see. Circati given another outing at Centre Back would also be worth the investment.
