Sam Kerr- Womens Footballer of the Year! 2019 / 21

Postby sevengoals Fri Dec 06, 2019 10:12 pm

Congratulations Sam Kerr!
Kerr finished second last year, the first time the Guardian and The Offside Rule presented the list together and she is the fourth winner of the award, following Pernille Harder, Lieke Martens (2017) and Ada Hegerberg (2016).

Amazing! I get such an amazing sense of pride that the women's game is becoming so strong globally and Australia is a massive part of that. As a father of two girls I'm very excited for the future women like Sam are playing a big role in paving.

She is shaping into the best footballer Australia has produced so far.

Who knows Stuckey, one day your two girls could be wearing the Red of United and the Green and Gold of Australia!

I wish it for them!

I'm trying my best! Grandpa has number 1 interested in Cricket for the time being. Wife isn't quite as big a Reds fan as I am!
