Goody. Mabil. McGree.
Adelaide players going a World Cup!
Adelaide players also powering the U23s.

Look at the passion.
I’m in tears, but bloody hell to see these professionals in tears, Annie with no voice, unable to speak at the start of the interview. This is what it means for them.
I was also in tears.

So nervous when Goody and Mabil stepped up but what penalties. Heart in mouth as Goody's hit the roof of the net. A whisker under the bar.

Actually cannot believe we did it. Before the game I echoed the earlier comment that we would be utterly outclassed like we were 4 years ago in Sochi. I predicted a 2 or 3 nil loss in the 90.

Socceroos with and without Mooy are so different. He is a class above.

Deserved it on the balance of play.

Couldn't be prouder of the boys, Arnie, to be an Aussie.

Strain gets a deserved call-up but Goody misses out (presumably due to injury).

Goody on the plane to Qatar.
Volapto rejects playing at a World Cup - bonkers.
Langerak, Saino and Rogic miss out.

Few puzzling selections but you'd expect only 15 or 16 players to get game time.
