Playing in the EPL sounds great until you realise it is for a joke team like Villa.Read more at http://www.zerostriker.com/socceroos-sq ... ZR8l1YV.99SQUAD:

Wonderful to see Goody and Mauk in!
Nice to see a couple of lads yet to play from Europe in as well.
I think this is why its so important to have Euro friendlies regularly. Make it easier for these lads to be released from their clubs.
Surprised Jordan Lyden isn't included. He's played at times in the EPL for Villa.
You If make it sound like anyone could get a game. Inman is playing well enough to get a call up I doubt his club is keen to lose himPlaying in the EPL sounds great until you realise it is for a joke team like Villa.Read more at http://www.zerostriker.com/socceroos-sq ... ZR8l1YV.99SQUAD:

Goodwin and Ikonomidis are the LW in the squad, good chance to get a start. Inman is a South Aussie so great to see him in the squad. I wonder if he is a player the club should be trying to bring home.
I have no idea about his contract situation but surely worth asking the question. You If make it sound like anyone could get a game. What Lyden has done is great but it is not worthy of a call up at this stage even though the squad only has one RB.
