Wonderful to see Goody and Mauk in!

Nice to see a couple of lads yet to play from Europe in as well.
I think this is why its so important to have Euro friendlies regularly. Make it easier for these lads to be released from their clubs.
Surprised Jordan Lyden isn't included. He's played at times in the EPL for Villa.

Playing in the EPL sounds great until you realise it is for a joke team like Villa.

Goodwin and Ikonomidis are the LW in the squad, good chance to get a start. Inman is a South Aussie so great to see him in the squad. I wonder if he is a player the club should be trying to bring home.

You If make it sound like anyone could get a game. Inman is playing well enough to get a call up I doubt his club is keen to lose him

I have no idea about his contract situation but surely worth asking the question.

What Lyden has done is great but it is not worthy of a call up at this stage even though the squad only has one RB.

New Socceroo Inman in Crewe contract limbo

Newly called-up Socceroo Bradden Inman’s future isn’t clear after his relegated club Crewe Alexandra revealed they are in ongoing discussions on a new deal.
Crewe finished last in England’s third tier this season, meaning they’ll play next term in League Two.

I stand corrected.....On the Inman dicussion I still think Lyden is worth looking at.

Surely the HAL is a better standard that League Two? Although there is far more football to be played in League Two.

I suspect they will play a weaker team against us as the game is the middle game of the three preparation games for the Euros and we are their weakest opponents. Still they will be tough as our squad is weakened a lot.

Good morning!
Anyone up for this one?

Rashford is certainly "up for it"

1-0 to England.
Errr, 2min.

Watching the first half - thought we dominated possession particularly in their half which was fantastic.

Had more shots but breaking down in front third.

They look dangerous on the counter but devoid of much creativity.

Mooy and Rogic running the show.

Honestly wouldn't know that one player is on more than the entire Aussie squad.

Risdon poor and McLaren unsighted. Tough with the HAL season finishing so long ago but they're the only two who look a bit off the pace.

Rogic has the ball in a string. An absolute delight to watch.

Rooney has made it 2-0 on the counter also.
