Is abc showing the games ? If not any streams ?

I really enjoyed the last womens world cup
So did I.

I'm sure there will be streams.
sbs is showing the whole tournament live, with a daily highlights show.
Cheers! I'm really out of the loop, my TV to Youtube ratio is about 1:20 lol have no idea what actually going on.

Im being a nitpick bastard here but IMO this section should be named "Australian National - Socceroos & Matildas." Credit where its due, these girls deserve as much recognition as the men if not more since most are semi professional.
Yes Shin you are right we should change the title if this section.

2-0 to Australia.
Game over.

Nigeria quite dodgy in the second half, kicking out and throwing the odd elbow.
Samantha Kerr lucky not to be missing a tooth or worse...

Not impressed with the Ref either.

Good win but.

A result against Sweden and on we go.

Very good first goal :)

Anyone watch the Thailand v Cote di Ivore game? Watched the highlights, looked like a couple of cracking goals and some good chances too.

I seriously have to question anyone who says the womens game is played in better spirits then the mens.

In this world cup ive seen many incidents that are easy yellow cards in the mens game. A very common theme that seems to go unpunished if kicking the ball away to hold up play.

I suppose its a sign that the professionalism in the womens game is up a few notches and many are able to earn a great income from the sport.

Dont get me wrong im not knocking them i just think people have a preconcieved idea of women playing for the love and honour of the game while not realising how professional these girls have become.

Good on them i say

slightly off topic, but I thought it would tie in nicely here anyway. just wanted to say...

how awesome is it that 12 womens national teams will feature in FIFA 16!

It's also been announced one of either Kyah Simon, Steph Catley or Katrina Gorry will replace Timmy on the cover.

the womens game is just going from strength to strength... love it!

ps I don't work for EA or FIFA :P

Yeah pretty awsome!

I wonder if the players will be rated in their own "universe" so to speak or if they will be directly comparable to the mens ratings.

As E3 is on at the moment, some interviews with producers have revealed that they had went a completely new way in determining their stats and created new animations/game mechanics. Apparently the few who were invited to do play tests have mentioned quite a noticeable difference when playing with the women's teams compared with the men's, overall was quite positive.

Good on them for doing that tho!

China, Korea, Japan and Australia all through to the knock-outs and Thailand finished 3rd in their group when they were expected to be bottom. The AFC is going great guns in the women's game.
