Ange gone.
I don't know what to make of this.
I expect the knives to come out straight away from all the codes as it's "just not cricket"...
Far out, it's going to be ugly.

There must be some serious politics going on behind the scenes.

Ange always spoke of his plan and progression, he finally got them playing how he wanted right before the world cup and now he is walking away.

As always nothing is ever as it seems with FFA, Gomby also just left the national team set up I wonder if hus departure is linked or just a coincidence.

I dont think we will ever know why ange left.

Gombau has left the national set up already, as well?
That's strange...

Something is definitely "rotten in the state of Denmark".

The sooner they are gone the better.

Gombau is the new WSW head coach 7g! You may even see him at Coopers if you've got a stream on sunday.

So sad to see Ange go.
Although I am sure the calibre of CVs coming in would be exceptional.

Dreadful from Ange to abandon the national team but it probably will be good for the team as he was doing a poor job. He just could not get the best out of the best players in the team consistently and his three at the back did not work.

Abandon the national team? Sensationalist isnt it? We know very little about why he left.

I highly doubt it was to further his career as a manager given taking the roos beyond the group stage would have given him even more exposure.

Ange IS our most successful manager, Hiddink was a flash in the pan for 5 games with little pressure.

Ange did a great job early on, winning the Asian Cup was excellent. However he has since taken the best team in Asia and made it the fifth best team. That is a real regression.

I don't know about that .
We'll get all the trainers applying who failed to make it to the WC and have already been sacked by their respective national teams.

But then again they would have something to prove.

Not necessarily.
Bert van Marwijk is one name being mentioned and he got Saudi Arabia to the world cup. Another name is Carlos Queiroz who might be leaving Iran after getting them qualified.

Yes, of course.
Let's see what they can afford.
