The Beard was fantastic over the last two legs.
Honduras were woeful though. All of Thailand, UAE and Syria tested us more than this mob.

In Ange we trust. I chuckled at his comment about not being accepted because he didn't have a Socceroo career. Aimed squarely at Bosnich, Slater, Foster and maybe Kosmina. Hope (and expect) that he will continue on to the WC.

Even tonight Fox commentary saying how Asia is an easier route to the WC. Sure. 22 games against the best in Asia, compared to a walk in the park in Oceania then just two hard games against intercontintal opposition. Unbelievable downplaying of what Ange has achieved.

I watched the game on some Honduran Sports TV channel in English and they just lavished praise on Ange, the squad and their achievements.
