Just bought a family ticket in the 'B' section (corner on second tier - pretty good view) for $100. Not bad really. Sad to see no 'family' options in the A section. Should be a good night - and one we don't get a lot of. It'll be very interesting to see who's playing for the 'Roos by that stage.

So afl played at AO the next day? so will it be long grass for our game or short grass for the AFL?
Generally the ground is prepared for the upcoming event. So the Socceroos would get preference. In theory.
I can see people bitching about changing the ground for ethnic game that doesnt belong at an afl ground etc etc.

It's Adelaide of course.

Went online and Ticketek haven't enabled the feature to let you pick seats. So annoying.

Plus charge you for the service of not letting you do that.
I love the hysteria around ticket scalping when these useless companies basically do the same thing. Only difference is they pay (some) tax on their earnings.

Pretty interesting squad. I'm not really sure how Nathan Burns gets another call up? Has he played at all since the end of the J-League season? Rhys Williams can't hold down a starting spot for Perth, how does that warrant a call up?
Nice to see a few HAL players offered a chance. Vukovic has been excellent for SFC. Troisi is exactly the sort of player the squad needs in the middle of the park. Especially as Rogic is out.
Wonderful to see Mabil included! Although I'd be surprised to see him get game time.

There are too many in the squad who are not playing enough.

I'm just pleased to see so many current and ex-AU players in the squad. Mabil, Jeggo, Leckie, Burns, Goodwin, McGree (Juric to a lesser extent).

But Sainsbury plays for Inter! That's worth a call up! :D

To think goodwin, leckie and jeggo were all rejects from melbourne clubs. All 3 could have easily slipped into the abyss of the NPL never to play top flight again particularly leckie

Imo the aleague is not promoting talent the way it should be.

Yet another case for expansion.

Degenek is playing well with Yokohama F Marinos which is encouraging.

Lucky to get a draw in the end. Just like watching AU. No where near enough actual chances created.
