Australia vs. Kyrgyzstan - Thu 12/11/15
Australia vs. Tajikistan - Thu 24/03/16
Australia vs. Jordan - Tue 29/03/16

all three of these qualifiers have yet to have their venues confirmed... if only Hindmarsh was up to scratch. these sort of games against "lesser" nations would be perfect imo.

IMO 17k is too small for a Socceroos match. I hope these games go to other cities that have a decent stadium for it. Perth getting the Bangladesh game is perfect IMO.
I think AO is the only place Adelaide should have a Socceroos game so I hopefully we'll just have to wait till the next round of qualifying and get a nation that would garner more interest.
These early rounds I'd love to see go to cities like Canberra, Townsville and Parramatta who have stadia that would be great for these games.
I think it would be nice for Parramatta to get a game as a bit of a reward for WSW doing so well.

Kyrgyzstan can be quite upset they didn't demolish us. Outplayed all over the park. Behich and Franjic were dire.

If you wanna call it bias, then whatever, but Elrich should've played over Franjic.

Franjic has player virtually no football over the past year compared to Tarek, not to mention Elrich was one of the best players in the A-League last season.

Some might say it was due to his brother passing away, but if he wasn't willing and ready to play, he would've gone home. So there shouldn't have been a reason to player Franjic over Elrich.

Completely agree.

I find it funny how some players don't even have to kick a ball to get in the squad like Juric has done yet Mitch Duke is scoring in the J-league but can't get in.
I understand playing players like Oar who hasn't got a club can help him find one but I would like to see a bit more focus on form being rewarded sometimes.

Yeah it doesn't really make much sense. He is probably not even fit.

Hopefully Malik can get a call up this season.

Its also funny how Oar does very little for the NT yet gets this afforded to him yet Troisi scores arguably one of the most important goals in Australian Football history and has to go it alone.

I personally don't think Oar or Troisi are up to NT standard but that's just my opinion.

If Kruse and Rogic didn't get injured I don't think either of them would have featured.

True, although I'm not Kruse's biggest fan either.
He has moments of brilliance then spends the next game running around like a headless chook.

Don't know if anyone is watching this but Elrich started at RB and is absolutely killing it.

The NT All Stars are better than this Bangladesh outfit but Elrich is still streets ahead of the other wingback, Davidson on the left.

Irvine and ikonomidis getting some solid minutes. Slowly starting to see the talented next generation come through

Great to hear that. Great to see talent of the future on the scoreboard as well.
