Australia now ranked 63rd as at Feb 12th.
moved 37 spots. still behind teams I feel we could beat, ie; Trinidad and Tobago, Panama, Equatorial Guinea etc

I agree. Though Panama came within a few minutes of going to the playoff with NZ instead of Mexico

Of course. The rankings make zero sense in reality.
but as long as they are a tool for world cup pooling I will take notice

So we are now 58th. Hopefully the staedy climb into the top 50 continues and eventually the top 30 that i beleive we should be in

Sadly, it will matter when the pots are decided for the final round of World Cup Qualification. The last thing we need is to have both Japan and South Korea in our group.
