IMO this proves how fickle things can be in the football world.

-We have had previous socceroo managers claim we have no talent coming through

-Golden generation players often take the piss out of the A-league

-Many media outlets sell our own league and players out by insinuating anything based in Australia is obviously sub-par.

Leckie had missed all the youth developmental teams growing up, could not even make MV's youth squad and was about to pick up a trade away from football.

Franjic i believe is actually a carpenter by trade and was never considered as a serious socceroo's player until Postecoglou came in.

Rogic, never picked for a rep side but 20 odd professional games later is off to europe.

My point ? Dont let these idiots tell you the Aleague or our up and coming players a useless. Dont let them downplay anything that is based in Australia.

IMO instead we should be asking why are their opinions even valid and how do they justify their roles in the games development when they let so many of our current socceroos slip through the cracks at a young age and were at one point or another trades and played football on the weekend ?

Sorry rant over.

I just feel there are many people in australian football who are still trading on their names and far to busy trying to protect their legacies while letting talent fall through the gaps.
