I heard last night Neymar is a chance of playing the final if Brasil qualify by jacking him up on painkillers.

Neymar and the Brazil football confederation have denied media reports that the striker could undergo special treatment on his fractured vertebrae to try to play in the World Cup final if the hosts make it that far.

I enjoyed that. Time to put Brazil's joga bonito myth to bed once and for all. I only wish Neymar had been on the pitch to share in the pain.

At least the 250,000 people that the Government displaced to build billion-dollar stadiums got to see one Brazilian goal.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Argentina do The Netherlands in penalties 2-4 after a scoreless 120min of uninspiring football.

Argentina v Germany WC Final 2014

The Germans are confident.

Going to extra time for a second straight WC final.

Germany struggling to get their passing game going for large parts. Losing Khedira in the warmup was huge.
