really positive play and movement thus far, I'm very happy :)

and I heard on the Fox Sports podcast that we couldn't get our hands on a pitch to train on :/ wonder if we found one eventually
Nice to see someone else has the same problem AU does!

3-0 HT. Hope Ange brings on a few young guns for the second half.

Ecuador snatch a late winner we go down 3-4.

Certainly a tale of two halves!

I wouldn't be pushing any panic buttons yet. We were very good for a lot of the game.

There are a lot of players out there who certainly struggled with the passing game Ange is attempting to implement. I was happy to see Timmy do well under it. Great to see the great man take the Socceroos scoring title.

If I was Ange I would be pushing very hard for another friendly before the South Africa game. He certainly has his work cut out for him!

bring back Neill for Rio!! :p

Yea same Stuck, sucks to lose such a lead, but it's not panic time. this gives Ang a chance to find problems, rather then just know that Timmy can score in the air :)

EDIT: it is a bit of a worry that Chile basically dominated the second half in Germany tho. still went down 1-0, but they'd be very happy with that performance..

I think it was 15 scoring opportunities in the end :/

We had a lot of energy but that was about it. I guess that's the positive that youth and a new coach bring to the table.

It's going to be near impossible to bed any structure down before the WC.

Ange will just have to play people in the positions they play for their clubs and hope for the best.

I just hope the FFA doesn't ass him when we get pumped. I feel we really need to get the message out to everyone who only pays attention to the socceroos during WCs that this is a result of 6 years of inaction.
