Is there a stream for this game Stuckey?
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

1-0 HT. Fairly even affair Australia looking good in patches. Antonis causing trouble with free kicks we could have had another one from one of those.

1-0 it ends lucky result IMO. Qatar had their chances and Australia were generally toothless in attack. Standard Australian junior performance made good by one decent attack which we were good enough to score from. We will definately have to improve if we are to get anything out of this tournament. Hopefully the weather will be kinder to them next game 30+ degrees did make the going tough and a few players went down with cramp at the end.

I was worried about this match so a draw seems to be a good result. Now we've matched it with Syria there should be any reason why we don't account for the Saudi's and qualify for the next round!

The Young Socceroos drew their latest match 1-1 with Saudi Arabia to qualify top of their group. As good as that sounds from what I heard (as I only watched the last 15 mins) we went out to draw. Saudi's took the lead in the 58th minute and the Young Socceroos decided to actually attack from then on. After a few good looking attacks and ended up relying on long balls to get into decent positions and it wasn't till the 91st minute that Corey Gameiro latched on to a ball into the area and took his chance very well scoring his 3rd goal in as many games. We did have a few chances to square it before that but considering we apparently stuffed around for the first hour it sounds like a draw was a fair result. Now we wait till later today to find who we play in the next round between North Korea, Uzbekistan and Jordan. As Jordan are playing a weak Vietnam it looks likely they will take second place in their group.

So the Young Socceroos now play Jordan on the 11th. Win that game and they make the U20 World Cup.

Woohoo! :boogie: :boogie:

Young Socceroos won their latest game 3-0 v Jordan. The win takes them through the the Semi final of the tournament and gives them an automatic place in next year's U20 World Cup!

Once again Corey Gameiro was the hero with a hat trick. So far he is the only Australian player to score at the tournament. I didn't watch the match but I read reports that we could have won by a larger margin with Amini hitting the post late on.
Australia now play Iraq in the semi on the 14th.
South Korea and Uzbekistan play out the other semi.
Corey Gameiro helped himself to a hat-trick as Australia secured their place in the final four of the AFC U-19 Championship after defeating Jordan 3-0 in Sunday's quarter-final at the Fujairah

It has been a great effort from the u19's as Australia teams are traditionally strong in defence, decent in the mid-field and bereft of ideas up front. To see the kids scoring regularly, even against potentially overage sides such as the Syrians, is positive indeed.

Can someone tell me what time in Adelaide the Semi Final is on? I cannot find a local time listed anywhere.

Also I guess streaming is the only option?

Edit: I think I've worked it out to be at 4:30am -_-
