Shit this is so gonna get all the idiots off Holgers back. At least he's finally grown a brain and played an attacking line up.

So it finishes 9-0 meaning Socceroos and North Korea are equal on points and goal difference. With two matches remaining for each. God I hope Holger has learnt from this!

I just pray that Holger has actually learnt that relying on the old brigade is not working and going with the younger kids actually got them thru. No holding my breath though.
Why we didn't go with a U25 squad I'll never understand or agree with.

SOCCEROOS striker Josh Kennedy's J-League side Nagoya Grampus is destined to block him from representing Australia at the East Asian Cup this month.

Kennedy - last month's 2014 FIFA World Cup hero when he scored the decisive goal to land Australia a ticket to Brazil next - is set to remain in Nagoya while Socceroos boss Holger Osieck leads an inexperienced side in South Korea
.

Fair enough I say why should they release their injury prone striker?

How do we think we'll go? I will be surprised if we win as Japan and South Korea are far ahead of us IMO.

Would be nice to celebrate a Socceroo trophy though!

Wow, bad timing for the FFA, would you rather watch socceroos play international football or the All-most stars take on Man U? Both on Saturday 20th July.

I'm going to the Man U game - will the East Asian Cup be on at the same time?

It's in Seoul.

According to calculations Seoul are only 30 mins ahead of us so the game will be kick off at 6:30. What time is the All stars kick off?
