Australia midfielder James Troisi is set to snare a dream move to Italy's Juventus after turning down a $6 million offer to play in the Persian Gulf.
Under the terms of the Italian deal, due to be officially confirmed imminently, the 23-year-old will sign for the Serie A champion which will in turn loan him out to promoted Pescara for the first year of his contract.

So he is good enough to sign for Juventus one of the biggest and best clubs on the planet, yet can't even get into the socceroos squad? Does that tell us something or what!

Great move congrats to the man! The Saudi's wanted him for $6M, AUFC wanted him for probably a 20th of that. But he said no and stuck to his guns well done son!

Someone mentioned to me he was carrying a niggling injury at the time.

A great move though and I really hope he makes and impression in Serie A.

I'm talking about the last 12 months. He's been in and out of the squad.
