Socceroos vs Oman

Postby blahblah Fri Jun 08, 2012 2:34 pm

The final stage starts tonight. Hopefully Kennedy and Holman are up for it. Valeri will also be back. I am expecting a cracker from Bresciano.

I have real concerns about our back 4 and am beginning to wonder if it is time to try Williams at CB.

Any news on Herd and his ankle?

Think Holman has been ruled out. Not sure on Herd.

Expect at least a 1-0. May be only one goal to decide it due to the conditions.

that was a worrying performance, yes it was away in tough conditions, but we should have won that game! we played like we wanted a draw? Archie thompson and alex brosque are not good enough...Cahill and Kennedey score regularly for the side and don't get a minute in a crucial game?
i expect we will lose to japan and then if we stumble away again for the next game we may all save ourselves time money and sleep by not making it to Brazil.... pull your finger out holger

Oh man. We were lucky to get a point. Terrible performance. Call me a pessimist if you must, but I don't give us much chance or hope against Japan...

Imo well deserved point, wasnt pretty but a point was a good result , it was never going to be an open game

Got Schwarzer to thank for that point, in part.

Surely anything but a comprehensive victory will be a failure.

Will be interesting to see what lineup takes the field.

Actually kinda excited with some of those selections.
