Australia v Thailand

Postby blahblah Fri Sep 02, 2011 3:56 pm

The Thais are down a few players in their backline so they may be a bit fragile tonight. I'm expecting a full strength line-up at the start however some players may be pulled off early to rest them for Saudi Arabia if we put two or three into the back of the net.

Hopefully Sarota and Williams get a run. I like those two.

I'll be missing this one because of work...
I think this game should not cause the team any problems.

Australia 2-1 (0-1) Thailand

Excuse me?

Can anyone explain this?

Thailand leading 0-1 at half time...

ok, same old.

The Socceroos had 50 entries into the penalty box but could only get two goals in a scrappy effort. Lucas Neill says it was "disappointing". And I think that sums it up perfectly. "At least we won," he adds. Can't argue with that.

36th min There's a yellow card for Valeri for a late tackle on Surat Sukha. Play went on for about a minute but the card came out as a Thai player got some treatment.
Getting one back for Leckie. Respect.
