Looks to be a youth/second string side if you ask me, should be good for some of these players to get a run though.

Whos gonna play LB?

WTF is Thompson doing in that squad?
We are UNITED, after all....

No cahill, kewell, schwartzer".............

Adelaide has been well and truly dicked imo. It has gone from having a full strenghth socceroos squad against a quality team of serbia, to a second strin squad against the kiwis aka wellington phoenix.

FFA if this does not draw a crowd dont blame us, paid 175 bucks for my partner and ito see this, id be lying if i said i dont feel a little ripped off.

Archie....wtf no future in him

Matt mckay hasnt played for months

Why the hell does the Socceroos need a 32 year old water boy?
Also lolz at the Advertiser that's been flogging the fact Harry Kewell will be playing in Adelaide!

Archie better not even be on the bench in Adelaide. Surely Holger is not that ignorant.

Glad Niell, Emmo, Holman, Wilks and Sasa are in. The real workhorses of the team.

Why take a swipe at the advertiser,

They really put the heat on the ffa to get a game here, then when it had been announced they plugged it quite generously to gain interest and hopefully win us more game in the future

Because its offically the worst newspaper in the country. At least thats what Media watch found from their study.
I appreciate them running stories on it, as they should. But the articles are weak and if someone bothered to do some reporting instead of waiting for the FFA to realise some info we might learn something instead of reading how "the socceroos and NZ is never a friendly match" blah blah!
The same goes for AU's training every session has 4-5 stories that could be written but no one even shows up to report on it.
For example the last session i watched.
-Slory back to full training
-Barbs away (injured, trialing with another club?)
-Youth team trialists (who are they?)
-Flores, has he decided on a contract?
-Carl Veart (where is he? on a scouting mission?)

Stuckster,
The Tiser is shit, no doubt. But in terms of coverage of the local A-League team it's probably the best in the land. Which may not be such a feat, but credit where credit is due (and tbh I couldn't be bothered reading 4-5 stories about what each player had for breakfast, fuck knows who has the interest to read all those useless AFL pieces)..

BTW - so angry at no Kewell. Now unless he comes back to play in the A-League I may never get to see the man play live. (Cahill I couldn't give two dicks about).
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

The inclusion of Archie calls for a boycott tbh.

And with regards to those that aren't turning up, it's no real suprise, we always get shafted in this Pissant Town.. :bang:

He can run fast in a straight line?

Surely if archie gets a run it wont be in adelaide !!!

Lets not forget the last time he was at AO he made a real point of sticking his goal in the face of our active support, actually it was more then that it was almost as if he was challenging people to jump the fence.

Would be such a shame to hear boos for any socceroo but i wouldnt be suprised to hear some after that show from him.

I think adelaide will get the weakest team of the 2 games........dicked again

I reckon it's an opportunity for him to play his last game for Australia in front of the Melbourne fans.

Yeah i know know, right! I have never had these thoughts before but, on that day, he actually made me feel like jumping the fence and punching his skinhead.
