The German national team were booed during the second half against Kazakhstan on Saturday.
They had put 3 past Kazakhstan in the first half and one in the second.
This was not enough for the sold out Fritz-Walter Stadion.
There were also calls for "Schweinsteiger Raus!"

Lowe will be resting a few players and giving game time to some of the younger players.
Philipp Lahm will not be starting according to "Kicker" magazine.

The game kicks off at 20:45 CET.

I heard he'd been withdrawn altogether, along with Ozil and Kedhira.

Doesn't mean they won't be tough; obviously, three players don't make a team and Low is surely confident in his "test" side's ability to not need those three.

I'd like to see us do better, but it'll again come down to how many passes we give away and how many defensive errors we make, like last time.

Yes, you're right those three have gone back to their clubs.

Regardless which team Germany put out, it will still be competitive.

Video report but in German- (link at the bottom)

They show Germany "preparation" for the friendly and discuss the team...

The video starts with the commentary, (roughly)
"Not that the national team are not taking the game seriously against Australia but preparation this time was a bit different and it was really fun for the team"

And then they go on about young players getting a start and trainer Löw experimenting a bit.

Tim Wiese is in goals with a "new" back four who are all named, the mid-field is undecided and Mario Gomez will start.
I counted 6 named changes to the team from the weekend.

And the game will be a showplace for the young emerging talent to have a chance to put pressure on the first 11

Osieck's Socceroos disenchants Löw's second guard (roughly)

It was... well, let's say it was interesting. That's a good start to describe the game. Not at all convincing and Germany played at a walking pace for pretty much the whole game. Had they actually got into any stride in the first half, we would have already received a flogging by half time. Can count ourselves lucky for that, but our second half was a lot better and I don't think Germany expected our performance to step up.
Holman was brilliant in the first half (I never realised he had THAT much pace), Carney or Kruse get the nod in the second half. Jedinak was pretty woeful.

Holman is very important for us when we are under pressure. He really does provide a harrying capacity for their midfield and a real chance to break on the counter with little or no support.

I'm hoping Leckie makes it in Germany as with Holman running down the middle with Leckie down the right we have a very real chance to catch big teams on the break.

It started with a pass played out of defense by Ognenovski.

He did very well.

He slipped once and allowed Klose to get past him late in the second half but recovered well to get back and put Klose off his shot.

And the german loss made the Austrian national news last night.
And no doubt on other sports news.
It is always news here in Europe when Germany get beaten.

I seriously thought we were boned, no way would I have seen Neill or Moore recover and get back so well and cleanly.

Agree, i instantly thought Klose will score or get fouled for a penalty.
But The Ogre did his work , number one!
