Basically the Asian Cup squad with Rukavysta in for Macca and Mitch getting a call up to watch the Schwarz in goals.
Socceroos squad: Tim CAHILL (Everton FC, England), David CARNEY (Blackpool FC, England), Brett EMERTON (Blackburn Rovers, England), Brett HOLMAN (AZ Alkmaar, Netherlands), Mile JEDINAK (Genclerbirligi SK, Turkey), Harry KEWELL (Galatasaray SK, Turkey), Neil KILKENNY (Leeds United FC, England), Robbie KRUSE (Melbourne Victory, Australia), Mitchell LANGERAK (Borussia Dortmund, Germany), Jon McKAIN (Al Nassr, Saudi Arabia), Matt McKAY (Brisbane Roar, Australia), Lucas NEILL (Galatasaray SK, Turkey), Sasa OGNENOVSKI (Seongnam Ilhwa, Korea Republic), Nikita RUKAVYTSYA (Hertha Berlin, Germany), Mark SCHWARZER (Fulham FC, England), Carl VALERI (U.S. Sassuolo Calcio, Italy), Luke WILKSHIRE (FK Dinamo Moscow, Russia)
The training squad is pretty interesting and a great chance for some of the kids to feel a part of the action.
Australian National Teams Training Camp Squad: Shane CANSDELL-SHERRIFF (Shrewsbury Town, England), Adrian MADASCHI (Portogruara, Italy), Adam SAROTA( FC Utrecht, Netherlands), James TROISI (Kayserispor, Turkey), Michael ZULLO (FC Utrecht, Netherlands), Dean BOUZANIS (Liverpool FC, England), Apostolos GIANNOU (AO Kavala, Greece), Chris HERD (Aston Villa, England), James HOLLAND (Sparta Rotterdam, Netherlands (on-loan from AZ Alkmaar), Shane LOWRY (Sheffield United, England (on-loan from Aston Villa), Ryan McGOWAN (Partick Thistle, Scotland (on loan from Hearts), Aaron MOOY (St Mirren, Scotland), Kearyn BACCUS (Le Mans, France), Ante DRAZINA (Hertha Berlin, Germany), Corey GAMIERO (Fulham FC, England), Bradden INMAN (Newcastle United, England), Josip KONYIT (Dinamo Zagreb, Croatia), George LAMBADARIDIS (Club Brugge, Belgium), Mathew LECKIE (Borussia Mönchengladbach, Germany), Massimo LUONGO (Tottenham Hotspurs, England), Brent McGRATH (Brøndby IF, Denmark

Good to see Ruka in over Scott. Very interesting training squad, might help sway some of those players towards choosing the green and gold over other options.

especially with the Olympic qualifiers starting in June and the u20 World Cup in August. These events are real auditions for the tilt at 2014.Good to see Ruka in over Scott. Very interesting training squad, might help sway some of those players towards choosing the green and gold over other options.
Incidentally it is good to see Troisi back to full fitness after his long lay-off. A pity Williams did not make it however he is only just coming back from injury so I guess it isn't worth the risk just for a training camp.

Re: Squad for Germany
With things like this i reckon sometimes countries and clubs make an agreement, say in this example if we select Nathan for the Asian Cup we won't select him for the next few friendlies as we've had a good look at him and we don't want to disrupt their club form too much and risk him getting injured. No love for Nathan Burns?
Considering he's currently starting for AEK there couldn't be any other reason not to select him IMO.

Re: Squad for Germany
The scary thing about a lot of these players is many of them have already represented other countries at youth levels.Australian National Teams Training Camp Squad: Shane CANSDELL-SHERRIFF (Shrewsbury Town, England), Adrian MADASCHI (Portogruara, Italy), Adam SAROTA( FC Utrecht, Netherlands), James TROISI (Kayserispor, Turkey), Michael ZULLO (FC Utrecht, Netherlands), Dean BOUZANIS (Liverpool FC, England), Apostolos GIANNOU (AO Kavala, Greece), Chris HERD (Aston Villa, England), James HOLLAND (Sparta Rotterdam, Netherlands (on-loan from AZ Alkmaar), Shane LOWRY (Sheffield United, England (on-loan from Aston Villa), Ryan McGOWAN (Partick Thistle, Scotland (on loan from Hearts), Aaron MOOY (St Mirren, Scotland), Kearyn BACCUS (Le Mans, France), Ante DRAZINA (Hertha Berlin, Germany), Corey GAMIERO (Fulham FC, England), Bradden INMAN (Newcastle United, England), Josip KONYIT (Dinamo Zagreb, Croatia), George LAMBADARIDIS (Club Brugge, Belgium), Mathew LECKIE (Borussia Mönchengladbach, Germany), Massimo LUONGO (Tottenham Hotspurs, England), Brent McGRATH (Brøndby IF, Denmark
If i was Holgie i would be so tempted to just play them all just to lock them in!
