Re: Socceroos to play in SA
I'll be there, and will try and drag along as many as I can. I hope the weather is kind to us, June runs the risk of a cold wet night!
Is anyone here a GGArmy member? Know if any/many will be coming over?

Re: Socceroos to play in SA
New zealand eh
Ohwell ill go regardless
I think the kewell card will get thrown around a bit and it will be a great crwod, if we manage to sell the place out id expect a world cup qualifier or two in the future. I mean this is a friendly againt new zealand so i hope ffa take that into consideration
Would be nice to see leckie get his first 5 minutes as a socceroo in adelaide but cant see that happening.
Anyone know when tickets go on sale

Re: Socceroos to play in SA
I'm with Stuckey on this one and I don't really mind too much who we are playing, as I won't be there so much to see the opposition but more my beloved Socceroos tbh.
"The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes, that's a fact. Everything else is pure theory."

Re: Socceroos to play in SA
I saw on facebook that the official Adelaide United page made a event promoting the match and i read that AU members will get priority over tickets. Awesome!

Re: Socceroos to play in SA
Surely it would just be Football Family members in general getting priority.
Anyway, great to see. Hope everyone brings a massive crowd to the Oval.

Re: Socceroos to play in SA
The Olyroos are playing in Japan on the 1st of June. Given that our first qualifier for the 2012 Olympics is on the 19th of June I'd surmise that this game will have precedence over the Socceroos friendlies. Hence I'm expecting that we won't get to see Leckie grace Adelaide Oval in the green & gold.

Re: Socceroos to play in SA
Does anybody know what's going on with the ticket sales ?
Since the news last week that AU and football family members get first crack on May 5th (this Thursday) I've heard diddly squat.
There's nothing on the FFA website about the game at all other than being listed in the upcoming fixtures.
I have not seen or heard any promotion for the game as yet either.

Re: Socceroos to play in SA
$35 to see an international match? I don't think that's bad at all.
