$35 to see an international match? I don't think that's bad at all.
I agree, however for that price you get a terrible view. Decent seats cost $85, with no concession, or children's prices, that $340 for a family of four (+ food/drink etc). Lets not forget that everyone was expecting to see a top team, like Serbia, with all due respect to NZ they do not capture the public's imagination, no matter how much we try to pump it up.

For me, I would pay anything to see the roos, but I'm not the type that FFA need to win over.

I'm afraid that we will get a small turnout because of this, and that will blow our chances of getting the roos back here for a long time.

I'm sorry, I just feel like we are being set up to fail here.

When you say decent seats i think you mean best seats in the house!
Its not cheap to see national teams play.
But look at it this way,
$85
minus the usual $250 return flight to Sydney or Melbourne
minus accomodation costs
equals savings!

There's plenty on facebook about it!

I reckon they'll wait to see how sales go before flogging it.

Does anyone have a better venue map of Adelaide Oval. I bought my ticket and it says I'm in Western Grandstand level 4, section 405 but the map on Ticketek is shite so have no idea where I'm sitting. I know it's a fair way back cause I bought when the public went on sale but yeah...

What's going on with the advertising over there? I just spoke to my brother and asked him if he was going to the game and he didn't even know there was a game on.

Fair enough he's only a (very) casual football fan - but he's sports mad and generally pretty aware of what's happening.

He obviously doesn't read the newspaper or any online sports media if he doesn't know about the games!

Funny that Archie is asking for AUFC members and fans to not jeer him if he comes on the park at AO. I will jeer for 2 reasons, most importantly he is taking a valuable squad position from a younger more worthy addition and secondly he plays for MVFC - sometimes club comes before country.

Im very much against anyone jeering any socceroo , having said that i wont be cheering when his name is read out either.

To me it would be a very sad day if any socceroo was boo'd while representing our country.
