Re: 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup
I'm excited they matches are shown on SBS!
It seems a case of Spain then everyone else but i'm not expert. It probably depends on how bad Ecuador are to how the group unfolds. I'm guessing they aren't bad if countries like Chile or Paraguay aren't there!
I never see USA at any of these tornaments i heard they're college system is apparently awesome?

It will be tough but I think we can get out of that group.

We can theoretically come third and still progress, if we do well enough. (Each third-placed team gets their results compared and the top four of those progress.)
It's definitely doable, so long as we can ensure a respectable result against Spain. Costa Rica and Ecuador are also concerns, since they're good sides, but I can't exactly see a clearly better team out of the three.

Re: 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup
Have to LOL at people on other forums saying which teams we can and cant beat. IMO anyone who has in depth knowledge of what standard each countries national U20 squads are well...... They need to get life and meet some real life friends, yep i said it.
That said based on reputation of who we are up against it will be tuff.
I hope leckie is givien a bit of free run.
Is bulut in the squad?
Mullen and birra should feature aswell, its not out of the question either could impress and end up with some offers . Very very interesting

Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie

Amen to that!I never see USA at any of these tornaments i heard they're college system is apparently awesome?
These youth tournaments are a real mixed bag when it comes to picking the winner. So here is hoping we play some good football and further develop the next gen of socceroos. After all thats what its all about.
I for one will be getting up to watch these games
We are UNITED, after all....
