So, France beats an excellent and unlucky (again) Peru.

IMO Denmark aren't as good as Peru or us, so i think even an already qualified France will beat them.
That means if we can be good enough to get a win against Peru we can go through.

Sadly, I think Peru have too much pride to just roll over for us, in fact i think they'll be desperate to leave with a win.
It's going to be a very, very tough game (and likely very physical too, depending on the ref).

So if we beat Peru and France beat Denmark we cannot have a worse goal difference than them. If we or France win by two goals then we are through.
The big question is whether France will go for the win or be happy to settle for a draw.

They haven't been firing on all cylinders and will want to be doing so before the knock-out stages. My guess is they will go for a big win to go into the next round in form.

There is also the risk of Denmark snatching a win and topping the group, which would quite likely put France up against an in-form Croatia.

Argentina on the brink.
They were all over the shop.

If we also go home early at least we will be going in good company.
Maybe the Germans would like to join us..?
It is as if the doors of perception have been opened and everything is finally presented before us as it is. A circus with bitter clowns, no safety net under the trapeze, a malnourished caged tiger and a knife-thrower who aims at the heart of his side-kick. The lady in the box is sawn in half and the chained man in the glass box of water is not even trying to break free.

Another option is that France will rest players and bring players like Mendy, Lemar, Nzonzi, Fekir, Rami etc who might be very keen to impress and displace the under performing first choice players.

France should not be scared of Croatia, they are going to have to beat teams of that quality if they are going to win the world cup.

Brazilians flopping everywhere , neymar pen overturned for a dive, no cards.

A few cards for going down easy and problem would be solved

Neymar just totally ruined things. He faked for a penalty by falling at a slight touch, fooled the referee but not the VAR. However if he had not flopped like a dead fish he would of either been fouled or brushed past the arm and had a shot on goal.

Neymar should have had a yellow.

He hardly touched him. Neymar got the other Costa Rican with a nice elbow though and then had the audacity to complain about the him going down.

Brazil manage two late goals to win.

Hardly touched him? It was a palm to the face, you just cant do that.

Anyway, football won in the end. Thank god!

Prefer to see the attacking teams progress

Maybe I am wrong, but did not look like much in it, If there was any force then it should be a red card.
