There is some very cool music from the Sahel, particularly Desert Blues.

This is a song from a Tuareg group. The video is pretty trippy.

Nice song. She's clearly a talented lady.

I heard the same loop recording device being used on ABC Classic a couple of months back. Quite interesting.

My nephew and I were talking through the various metal genres the other night and folk metal was mentioned. Good example.

It's "Gravy Day" , which I only found out about overnight even though it is the one song guaranteed to bring big fat tears to my eyes.
